The Peterson Family
I am writing you this letter to let you know how deeplyappreciative my family and I are of your services. My family and I are oneof the families you adopted out for the 2015 Christmas. Let me tell you, itwas one we will NEVER forget. We didn't expect to have all the support andsmiling faces come to our home whilst gracing us with the Christmas spirit.Being away from family around the holidays is very hard. But, when you allcame to our home you brought a sense of family "togetherness" that we longedfor while brightening up our Christmas season with laughs, Christmas carolsand yummy food! I think the anticipation before you guys showed up was oneof the best parts! It's amazing that complete strangers came together to putan amazing Christmas together for our family. We hope to share a part of theChristmas tradition you and your husband have started. It truly is awonderful thing. Again, we appreciate what you have done for us and othermilitary families to brighten our Holiday season.
Sincerely, The Aldersons
Dear North County Warriors Support,
Sorry for my delay in getting this letter of appreciation to you and the members of your organization, as I'm sure you know being a new mother takes up a lot of my time. My family and I would like to let you know how happy you made us for the Generous Surprise you gave to us this Christmas season. My children have never had a Christmas such as this year. Please know from the bottom of my heart that your organization "REALLY MADE OUR YEAR", THANK YOU!!
We will forever be grateful to this organization for all that you did. I appreciate your gratitude for my husband putting his life on the line not once, but five times. And to honor him by honoring our family means more than I can say. And I would just like to let you know that my children are still talking about Santa making a special trip from the North Pole to come to their home to visit them, and ALL THE TOYS AND CLOTHES he brought to them. Also, my mother -in-law said she had NEVER seen anything such as this Blessing the members of North County Warriors Support gave her son and his family this joyous holiday season. Even my neighbors have been talking about Santa coming to our home via Fire Truck and with a fully decorated Christmas tree :>).
My husband even commented on how your surprise was a, "Blessing coming at the perfect time" and how happy he was to receive such an honor; to include the framed Letter of Apprication from you all which will forever hang with pride and honor within our home in remembrance of our memorable Christmas of 2013 for many years to come thanks to the North County Warriors Support. Again I would like to say "THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!" And please let everyone know that our appreciation goes out to them all.
North County Warrior Support,
I wanted to thank you for being the greatest gift to one of my Sergeants of Marines, Sergeant Laughlin and his familia. I know you...you are already trying to tell me that this is what you do; however, this is an extraordinary gift that your organization does. It's just amazing your generous gifts and incredible love for our troops that I just don't know what to say. It's truly a blessing what you guys do and my Marines are truly honored to have been invited into your organization.
I'm not sure if anyone is ever worthy of what you guys do but since you chose Sergeant Laughlin...I can only say THANK YOU! Sergeant Laughlin is great Marine and takes care of his Marines with pride. His wife AND THEIR 3 kids are true Marine families, consistent rocks, who supports her husband and their Dad in getting the job done! So, thank you again for all that you continue to do!
MSgt Diaz, MHG Motor Transport Chief
WE would like to thank you all for your generous support and contributions to not only help our family but MANY before and after. You have truly been a blessing to our family in providing our only vehicle that transports us to and from, the brand new tires and helping fix the alignment and tow. We, have 9 kids with one income (Military). At times it seems very trying, but somehow, someway there are always people like you all to lend a helping hand. Since Nov. 20, 2012; 2 days before Thanksgiving last year our family has suffered the most toughest loss ever since 2 decades. Since then we have struggled to Celebrate any holiday, emotionally/mentally/socially/but most of all financially it has taken a toll upon us all.
We GREATLY APPRECIATE each and everyone of you all that have donated/sponsored our family! You all give us continous hope! We pray that all of your families be blessed 10 times the blessing you were and still are to us! And if there is anything we can offer to do to help other families we are willing!
With Love…The Afaese Family!

I just want to thank you for the incredible generosity shown to my daughter Afawna and her husband, my son-in-law, Marine Adam Johnson. It has been very difficult for her with Adam on deployment. You are wonderful people, helping her to get her van running again. Your kindness is absolutely amazing. I am the Pastor at the Flint First Wesleyan Church in Flint Michigan. You are a God sent. Afawna was extremely discouraged. You have made such a difference.
Thank you. This will not be forgotten or go unnoticed.

Their has never been anyone to take the time to show their appreciation to the troops as y'all do. What y'all do is truly amazing. There are miracles that do happen & you made those possible. We could not even begin to thank you guys enough! Thank you an we are truly blessed to have met people as great as you!!! Thank you and God bless!!!!!
All our love,

I would like to say Thank you to all the amazing people at North Country Warriors Support. For the last 3 years I have been a single father of two toddlers. I’ve fought tooth and nail, and lived hand to mouth for the majority of those years. Between all the ups and downs of life, my kids and I have always landed somewhere in the middle. I’ve heard of many other organizations that promise to do what NCWS does and fall short. There is no other organization that I know of who can compete with the level of military support you folks provide. I am officially your number 1 fan and I will be singing your praises from now until the day I die. Christmas was fast approaching and out of the blue I get a phone call saying I’ve been nominated for NCWS adoption. Within 60 seconds Sue is telling me I can call her “Mom” and questioning me about anything my family might need or want. A few weeks later the big day has arrived, I’m expecting a few people to show up and bring presents for my kids. After signing up for the YMCA Secret Santa, and the Sears Heroes at Home and other various military supportive operations, I had certain expectations of what was to come but I was wrong. NCWS showed up in the biggest and most amazing spectacle I have ever seen. People, presents, and food flooded into my house! Before I knew it my living room was filled with gifts, my house was full of kind hearted people and there was an unmistakable feel of being home and surrounded by your family. The love and support that the folks at NCWS have is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Three different times I thought to myself, this is it, the day couldn’t get any better! And 3 times the people at NCWS proved me wrong. In the last 24 years, I’ve had 3 great events. The birth of both of my children, and December 17th, 2011 When NCWS showed up at my door! Anyone who has ever been a part of this organization is welcome at my house any time for that breakfast that I owe you. I’d just appreciate a heads up if the same numbers of people are coming over as did last time so I can get more milk!

I would like to thank everyone from North County Warrior Support who was involved in helping to fix my truck!! Thank you very much,
Sgt. Matthew Labady
I had just recently bought my car when the radiator started leaking. Thank you so much for fixing it. And the a/c that I have now is awesome.
I would just like to say thank you to all of you at north county warrior support for fixing my truck, with everything going on in our lives right now, this is one less stress for my wife and me to worry about. Thanks again, you guys are awesome!
My Name is Lorenzo White; I work on Camp Pendleton at the Base legal office. I would like to thank the Funday RV Service along with the individual that donated the bicycle that I received. I recently returned from deployment and had to undergo back surgery and I am currently rehabbing. I was about to look for a bike to rehab on when this opportunity presented itself. It does my heart good to know that there are still those out there that understand the work that the military members do day in and day out, and are willing to help the member and families out the way they do. The things that you do may not seem big to the ordinary person but it's huge to us. This bicycle will rack up many miles and once my rehabbing is complete it will be passed on to another Marine, again I want to say Thank you.
GySgt Lorenzo White
We just wanted to write and say thank you for giving us the best Christmas we could ever ask for. We have made sacrifices for our family and for the marine corps and to know that there are people in the world who do what you guys do for the holidays it makes the sacrifices just that much better for us. you really showed us that just this one unselfish act can make someone happy and give them such good memories for years to come, i still get emotional thinking about it. Thank you so much for all you have done.

hi, this is patricia cruz. i just wanted to say thank you to all those who helped n adopted me and my family for christmas. dec.18,2010 is by far the best christmas ever. my husband carlos says he never wants anything to even come close to topping it. he was so thrilled and overwhelmed. he actually crying and being speechless was a sight to see. he has had a difficult yr n that made it for him. i would have to say that his hair clippers and barber pole are the best gifts he ever had. i was so surprised about the food, i didnt know that was happening. my son thinks that santa only made toys for him, haha. but thankyou from the bottom of my heart again. it is very greatly apprieciated. you all definately proved to us that there are people out ther that do care and support and are thankful for those who are in the service. we keep all of you in our prayers and hope to get a chance to do it for another family in the future. thankyou.
My name is Michael De Alba, my wife's name is Stephanie. We are a one-vehicle family and will soon be expecting a child. Our vehicle in mid November experienced braking, locking and steering issues. We we're put in a situation where our only option was to take out a loan in order to make the necessary repairs to our vehicle. I was directed by my platoon Sergeant to contact Home Front, so I did. After contacting Home Front I was put in contact with Funday RV who immediately requested I bring my vehicle in for an assessment. With in a week repairs had been made to our vehicle free of cost and in a quality fashion. If not for the support we received my wife and I would most certainly have gone into debt. Since the repairs to our vehicle were made, we have attended a thanksgiving calibration in the San Francisco, Bay Area as well as been able to safely commute to and from work. Thank you so much to those who have made this possible for our family.
Sincerely , the De Alba Family
We Just wanted to thank every single one of you that helped and made this Christmas the best one we have ever had. We are very blessed that we were chosen and we thank God that their are people like you that can do these wonderful blessings for people like us. I'm not sure we can ever really thank you or show our gratitude enough for what you have done for our family. From the bottom of our hearts we Thank You! Merry Christmas and God bless you ALL!
Today I picked up my car from Funday RV and I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you put into my car and helping my family.
North County Warrior Support,
I wanted to say thank you to funday RV and Homefront San Deigo and the North County Warrior Support. Thank you so much for fixing our truck. We were already stressing over the new baby and other finances when the truck started acting up. We had no idea what we were going to do with three kids and no vehichle but thanks to you wonderful wonderful people we don't have to worry about that. And the blankets and stuffed animals for the kids was a great surprise they truely loved them. Thank you so much for everything you do.
I would like to express my gratitude to the members of North County Warrior Support. Without your help, we would have been unable to repair our family's only vehicle. With two small children, we felt unsafe driving our car in the condition it was in. Thank you to everyone involved with this program. Your support means a great deal to me, my family, and my fellow Marines.
In April of 2009 your organization assited me with obtaining a donated vehicle large enough for me and my family (three kids and a dog). The van has helped us out tremendously. It gets great gas mileage and has been very reliable. I just wanted to let you know how thankful we are and how great it is that you help out our fellow military personnel during tough times.
Sgt. Calvin Smith
Sorry it has taken so long for us to get back to you we are getting ready to move so we have been extremly busy. I wanted to ensure that you got our message and our thanks for the awsome help that you guys have helped our family out with. Our truck was almost a death trap on wheels and for the wonderful help of fixing our problems with the brakes it helped put our truck back into a standing of us feeling a lot more comfortable about having to drive it thank you all so very much and god bless.
I wanted to take a few minutes and let you know how much you mean to me and my family. I know that all of you spend so much time and money helping those in need and for that we want to say thank you.
It wasn't too long ago that all of you helped us in am unimaginable way. When we first moved to California, life in general became hard for us. We fell into financial turmoil ad in the end lost our only vehicle. A friend told me of your organization and of some of the things you all are known to do for people in need. I have to admit I felt bad having to call for the help of others but what you all did has literally turned my life around. When we lost our car we had to send our children to live with relatives until our situation was resolved just to make sure that they received everything they needed. I had to take time off work because I had no way to get back and forth. My husband was lucky enough to have a co worker help him out with getting to ad from work. After several conversations with the homefront society, I was informed that we were being put on a list to receive a donated vehicle. This would allow our children to return home and for me to return to work. I was also informed that the process could take a while due to the stress on the economy. I have to tell you just the idea of anyone stepping in and helping us at all meant so much to me that I was literally in tears. I was so grateful to get this news. About a month went by and I received a phone call from the Homefront Society with the news that our name had come up and there was a vehicle waiting for us. We were told what kind of vehicle it was and we were a little nervous but anything that would get us back and forth for even just a short while was better than what we had. When I arived to pick up our new car, My knees wet weak and I felt like I had won the lottery. You guy set us up with a beautiful 2001 Cadilac DeVille. I called my husband and he met me at Funday RV to receive our blessing. This is a car that we will cherish and baby for as long as it is ours. Last weekend I got to go pick up our babies and bring them home. They too love our new chariot as well as the teddy bears that were strapped into their seat belts when they got into the car. They wanted me to pass on their opinion that the car is "SWEET". I have to admit I do agree with them. All in all Me and my family want you all to know that without all of you, we would be lost and possibly not together any more. THANK YOU all SO MUCH for all that you do to help so many people in our community. WE will never forget you and we do hope that, one day, we will be in the position to do for someone what you have done for us. You will never be forgotten. If there is any way WE can help out please let us know.
The Boothby Family.
Dear Susan, Jack and Everyone Else at NCWS/Homefront San Diego, I have been thinking for a while now how to write this letter. It's an extremely hard one to write when you can't exactly figure out how to put the words together. The way everything happened was just a world wind of emotions. When we got in contact with your organization we had a 1995 Chevy pickup that we thought just needed a few things fixed to get it running strong again. When you called to give us the list of Major problems our hearts sank. We knew that we could not afford a new vehicle right now. That's when you told us that you were going to talk to Operation Homefront about having a vehicle donated to us. I have to admit we had no idea what to expect. Then a day later you guys has us standing in front of a 2002 Toyota Tundra custom built with a pop-up camper to go with it!! We were in complete shock had no idea what to say. We could not believe how blessed we were. Lucky doesn't even begin to describe how we were feeling at that moment. WOW was about the only word we could get out for a while. The gentlemen who donated this truck is a saint. To have donated this truck with the camper and everything inside was amazing. I mean sleeping bags, heater, water heater, toilet, GPS unit, Water jug the list goes on. Over memorial day weekend we took the truck to Palm Springs. It ran so well and so smooth. We are looking forward to taking a road trip with the truck and camper the last couple weeks of July. Believe me when I say that we are counting our blessings!! Thank you so much for everything that you guys at North County Warrior Support and Operation Homefront San Diego did for us!! I am beyond happy that my daughter and future children will be in a vehicle that is safe now. Thank you SOO much from the bottom of our hearts!!!!
Thank you to all of you at NCWS for fixing our car. You are a thoughtful and generous group of people. You really helped us out in our time of need. Thank you so much!!!
I'm thankful that my leaders showed me this website. It will come in handy in my life, while I'm nearby for the time being. Thank you for your valuable support to us Troops. God Bless.
We just wanted to thank y'all for all that y'al did. This was definitely a Christmas we won't forget. We hope y'all have a good year in 2009.
Words cannot express our sincere gratitude for all that you have done for us this Christmas. All I can say is it will forever stay in our memories and hearts. This was the best christmas that we have ever had. The kids were so happy with all of their clothes and toys. The wonderful dinner you guys had prepared for us was so delicious! The kids even ate everything off their plate. Thank you so much!!
Mr. and Mrs. Pierce
I have been thinking long and hard on how exactly to express my gratitude to how you have helped our family and honestly I don't think that words can do justice for how I feel about what you are doing for our military families. My husband left for Japan with 2 days notice leaving me and our two year old here. While he was gone our jeep broke down and we didn't have the money to fix it. A friend told me about you and I can't say that i believed it. I called and you guys towed our car and had it fixed and ready to go the next day. Thank you so much! You are truly wonderful people. I thank you, my husband thanks you, our daughter thanks you. Thank you again!! Have a great day and Happy New Year!
I just read the article about Cpl. Castaneda. That was gracious gesture and gift you gave him. I am proud that there are Americans such as you organized and making a difference. When I hear "support the troops", this is what I have been thinking. You guys are truly supporting the troops. Not just simply saying it or hanging a sticker or ribbon, your organization is "SUPPORTING the troops".
